The cost of legal services varies depending on how much work must be completed, number of court appearances and pleadings required, and the amount of assistance you need to provide necessary information. To obtain legal representation, you must first pay a standard retainer fee. Your retainer fee is very much like a security deposit; it remains safely in a trust account until we earn it. Thereafter, you are billed each month for the hours worked on your case and legal costs. Your bill is paid from your trust account, and it is your responsibility each month to replenish your trust account. For your convenience, you may pay with cash, check, or credit card. When representation is complete, the balance of your retainer/trust account is refunded to you.
